Welcome to the official page for Adventurous Learning Week 2025! After the success of Adventurous Learning Week 2024, we are thrilled to announce that the tradition continues. Students from Years 7, 8, and 9 will once again have the opportunity to step outside the classroom and into a world full of adventure, learning, and unforgettable experiences.

What is Adventurous Learning Week?

Adventurous Learning Week is a dedicated week for students in Years 7, 8 and 9 to engage in a series of hands-on, experiential learning activities. These activities are designed to challenge, inspire, and empower students, encouraging them to develop new skills, build resilience, and forge stronger friendships.

Highlights from 2024

Last year, students embarked on a variety of activities that left them with stories to tell and memories to cherish. Here’s a glimpse of what we accomplished:

• Indulging in the Expressive Arts: Students enjoyed a week of music, art, sports and much more.
• Foreign Travel: Students travelled far and wide experiencing different cultures and immersing themselves in the history of the countries they visited.
• Water Sports: From surfing to paddle boarding, students enjoyed splashing around and learning new water-based skills.
• Local adventures: From camping on Dartmoor to visiting Carnglaze Caverns, our students thoroughly enjoyed everything the surrounding area has to offer.

The feedback was phenomenal, with many students calling it the best week of the school year!
