Before the start of the academic year we encourage parents to get involved in the Launceston College community and join us in various events and activities throughout the year.

Our strong parent-teacher partnership is vital to the success of our students. We host ‘Super Saturdays’ and transition days for pupils to experience the school and get to know their new tutor groups and peers. In addition to this, in August we have our highly anticipated ‘Summer School’ which gives our students a great opportunity to familiarise themselves with the College site with few students here. At the beginning of the new school year, we host staggered starts that allow our students another opportunity to move around our site before the return of all older year groups.
